PSSSB Stenotypist Eligibility Criteria

PSSSB Stenotypist Education Qualification

To be eligible for the PSSSB Stenotypist posts, candidates should have passed graduation degree and holds a basic computer certificate (120hrs/O Level).

Age Limit (As on 01-01-2025)

The age limit for stenotypist is 18 years to 37 years. For SC/BC Category candidates maximum age limit is 42 years.

• Minimum Age Limit : 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit : 37 Years
• The upper age limit is relaxed up to 42 years for Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Punjab.
• The upper age limit is also relaxed up to 42 years for widows, divorcees, and certain other categories of women.
• The upper age limit is also relaxed up to 47 years for “Persons with Disability” of Punjab.
• The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 45 years for Punjab Government employees, its Boards/Corporations/Commissions and Authorities employees, and all States/ Central Government employees.
• Reservation Only for Punjab State Candidates.
