Age Limit (As of 23-01-24): The age limit for Chandigarh Police IT Constable Recruitment 2024 is 18–25 years. The maximum age limit for OBC candidates is 28 years, and for SC candidates, it is 30 years.

Exam Pattern of Chandigarh Police Constable (IT) 2024
All candidates shall be put through a written test/computer based test/OMR sheet-based test which shall consist of Tier-I and Tier II.
Tier-I Test shall carry 100 marks. The questions shall be of the multiple choice objective type, carry one mark for every correct answer and a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer, and include questions on:
- General Knowledge/ Current Affairs
- Reasoning
- Numerical Ability
The 50-mark Tier-II Test will assess applicants’ expertise in their field of specialisation in accordance with the syllabus specified in the announcement. The questions will be multiple choice objective in nature, with one mark awarded for each right response and a negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect response.
The written exam question paper will be available in Punjabi, Hindi, and English. The exam paper will only be sent to each candidate in the language that they chose when submitting their application. A change of media won’t be allowed.
