Important Dates

Education Qualification

• The candidates with minimum 50% marks in Graduation and 55% in Post Graduation.
• For Collegiate Schools, the candidate must have minimum 55% marks in Post Graduation in the relevant subject and minimum 50% marks in B.Ed.
• The candidates must have passed Punjabi upto Matric level for colleges situated in Punjab.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age Limit : 18 Years

Application Fees

Candidates have to pay Rs. 500 /- application fees in the form of Demand Draft in the favour of Directorate of Education, SGPC, payable at Patiala.

Selection Process

• Interview schedule can be checked on the website on 01-06-2023.
• Written Test may be held for these posts before the interview. In written test, 50% questions will be related with the concerned subject and remaining 50% questions will be related to Sikh Religion and History, General Awareness and Teaching/Research Aptitude.

• Send applications on prescribed proforma to Directorate of Education, SGPC, Panth Ratan Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra Institute of Advanced Studies in Sikhism, Bahadurgarh, Distt. Patiala-147021 with testimonials along with a bank demand draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of Directorate of Education, SGPC, payable at Patiala within 21 days (upto 26-05-2023) through Registered Post/Speed Post.
• Separate application form and separate draft should be sent for applying for more than one post/college.

Important Instructions

• Women candidates will be preferred for the posts in Girls Colleges.
• Sikh candidates should not be PATIT.
• The candidate should write the name, address and the name of the post on the back of the draft.
• The Number of posts may vary according to the workload.
