Age Limit/Restriction: 

As on 01.01.2017 Minimum Age is 18 Years and Maximum Age is 37 Years.Relaxation in upper age limit as per Punjab Govt. Rules.

Edu. Qualification:

1.English: (i) Should have possessed a valid bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with Elective English having studied in each year of graduation.(ii) B.Ed. with teaching subject of English and Guidelines of National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

2.Science: (i) Graduate of recognized University with B.T.or B.Ed. or B.Sc. with B.T. or B.Ed. Senior Basic Trained with any two of the four subject in B.Sc. namely, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology and Guidelines of National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

3.Hindi:  (i) Graduate with Hindi as a subject.  (ii) B.Ed with the teaching of Hindi in B.Ed. and  Guidelines of National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

4.Punjabi: (i) Graduate from a recognized University with Punjabi as a subject. (ii) B.Ed with the teaching of Punjabi in B.Ed.

5.Math: (i) Graduate with Mathematics as one of the elective subject in Graduation or B.A With Physics and Mathematics A Course with B.T. or B.Ed. or Senior Basic training.

6.Social Studies: (i) B.A with subject Combination as approved by Government from time to time with B.T. or B.Ed. (ii) Senior Basic Trained (Including Service of D.P.Ed. and B.P.Ed. as Master/Mistress with at least three years actual teaching experience).
