Eligibility Criteria For SSC CGL Recruitment 2022:
Educational Qualification:
- For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Students who have passed class 12th or its equivalent exam are eligible to apply.
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Students who have passed class 12th in Science stream from a recognized board or its equivalent with Mathematics as a subject are eligible to apply.

Selection Process:Â
The recruitment process of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be done through phases listed below:
Tier I Pattern
Tier-I exam is : English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness
Tier II Pattern
- Tier-II will be descriptive paper carrying 100 marks in ‘Pen and Paper’ Mode.
- One can write the paper in Hindi as well as English language.
Tier III Pattern
Skill Test/ Typing Test would be conducted on computer provided by the Commission or its authorized agency.
Pay Scale/ Salary:
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200).
- Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100).
- Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300).
- Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100).
