Educational Qualification

• Professor – PhD degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications. And A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and research experience at equivalent level.
• Associate Professor – A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines and A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed). A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University or college.
• Assistant Professor – A Master’s degree with 55% marks and UGC NET. NET is not necessary for University Business School(History).
• Senior Technician – Master’s Degree in any stream of Science/Computer Application/Electronics/Arts with Photo Journalism/Electronic Media with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Two years of Production/Studio Experience in a reputable Production Company or Institution or similar relevant Industry experience. Punjabi Upto Matric Standard is Essential.
• Clerk-cum-Junior Data Entry Operators – BCA/B.Sc. (IT)/B.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognized university/institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent to it. OR Graduation with computer science as an elective subject from a recognized university/institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent to it. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and PGDCA from a recognized university/institute or equivalent to it. OR B.Tech./BE in any stream with a computer science subject(studied at least in two semesters during the whole duration of the course) from a recognized university/institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent to it. OR Master’s degree in computer science/computer application/IT from a recognized university/institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent to it. Must have passed Punjabi subject upto Matric Standard.

GNDU Recruitment 2024 Application Fees

• For Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor –
  Rs. 590 for SC/ST & PWD.
  Rs. 1180 for all other categories.
• For Senior Technician and Clerk –
  Rs. 472 for SC/ST & PWD.
  Rs. 944 for all other categories.

Selection Process

There will be a written and Practical Test.

Salary

• Associate Professor – Rs.1,31,400
• Assistant Professor – Rs.57,700
• Senior Technician – Rs. 35,400
• Clerk – Rs. 19,900
